Bird’s Party Magazine is seriously one of my favorite party magazines. I can spend hours drooling over every page which is packed with ideas, inspiration, beautiful events put together by very talented and creative stylist and designers.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Crissy’s Crafts on her “Make A Wish” party she styled for her daughter’s birthday party. It was featured on the Spring/Summer issue of Bird’s Party Magazine. We made glittery dandelion marshmallow pops.
You too can drool over page Here’s the link to the e-zine.
This is a way over-due post but one that I really wanted to write and share with all of you.
As some of you may already know, we have had the opportunity twice now to design and donate custom marshmallow pops for the beautiful organization Operation Shower. There are soo many reasons why I feel dearly toward this organization to name them all, I just hope to be able to continue donating our products and time whenever possible. You too can get involved by donating here or through their Amazon wishlist. After learning that they were hosting the January shower in San Diego, I immediately volunteered to provide pops and also to come help set up for the event. I was stoked to finally meet the wonderful team behind this organization and the 11 talented designers that were being involved.
Here’s the cherry on top of my ice cream sundae… I got to make new friends, hang out with a fabulous group of ladies, and I even heard our Flamingo Marshmallow Pops were a favorite on the sweets table with the future-mommas!
I can pretty much go on and on about my amazing experience but I’ll let the photos do most of the talking…. (more…)
A few months back we wrote a guest post for Eye Candy Event Details in celebration of their 1st year anniversary. Well, the lucky winner was Donna O’neil and she decided to cash in her prize with marshmallow pops for her daughter’s birthday party.
The theme was “Dinosaurs” so she picked our Dino Fun designs and ask to customize it a little to fit her party.
So our design went from (left) regular dinosaur to (right) cute girly dinosaur! (more…)
When Ebony from Sparkling Events & Design told me the theme of her sweet Valentine’s Day party, my marshmallow mind started spinning but as soon as I saw the invitations… it was clear to me what I was going to make for her.
We’ve all seen these yummy seasonal Peeps products at local stores. Some people give them away as gifts, some top cupcakes with them and then some others simply eat them. But…. we…. decorate them and turn them from ORDINARY to EXTRAORDINARY!
We might have gotten a little too silly here LOL (more…)
As you may already know, I love my suuuper sweet amiga Nancy. She’s the creative mastermind behind from A to Zebra Celebrations. When she told me she was going to be styling a Valentine’s Day party around the Orange Crush soda, I immediately thought: Soda Caps!
Which meant, I was finally going to get a chance to use my digital projector to make the perfect consistent design.
Well…. it definitely wasn’t has easy as I thought. I need lots of practice but I made it happen in the end and I like the way it came out.
The base of the cap is actually a chocolate-covered marshmallow sandwiched in between two cookies called “Mini Mamut”. I also got a chance to add some yummy orange slice gummies to the pops… extra sweetness!

The party was an absolute success… lots of cute details, sweet desserts and funl ideas that are very inexpensive to recreate. The party was soo cute that it was featured on Living Locurto‘s blog. You can also see more photos and read up on the details here.
I officially have a love crush on this party!
This custom character inspired order was truly nostalgic for me to make.
I actually remember watching this show as a kid growing up in Mexico. El Chavo del Ocho was a sitcom from the 70′s about a bunch of kids (played by adult actors) who lived in an apartment complex and did lots of mischievous things to their adult neighbors. Then in the 80′s it became Chespirito and finally in 2006 an animated version called El Chavo was launched. If you get a chance to catch an episode, you should watch it (it’s also available in English).. It’s hilarious!
