Woohoo!! February, my favorite month of the year is here!
February is my favorite month for lots of reasons. Many fun events take place this month like Valentine’s Day, my birthday, my son Keiran’s birthday, my mother-in-law’s birthday, it’s the shortest month of the year and the weather is still cool. Let’s just say, we are busy and partying all month long!
Due to the high level of importance of these events (hahaha) I usually consume a larger amount of chocolate this month. I tend to get fancy chocolates for Valentine’s Day, scrumptious pastries for my birthday and then I like to cuddle up with a warm mug of hot cocoa and watch a comedy at night. It really just seems like February and chocolate are meant for each other.
To celebrate that wonderful harmony these two have going on, I thought I’d make a romantic s’mores dessert for two with a twist. I’d used graham cracker crumbs, pink JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme and JELL-O Instant Chocolate Pudding to fill little jelly jars and then decorate them with sprinkles and pink JET-PUFFED Jumbo HeartMallows.
What I loved the most about this delicious dessert is that you can enjoy all the flavors of a traditional s’mores without having to bust out a campfire or turn on your oven. The second thing that I love just as much is that you can change the color of the marshmallow creme, switch out the sprinkles and marshmallows for another and make this same dessert for any other holiday or event. For example, on Easter you can color the marshmallow creme light green and decorate with carrot sprinkles and JET-PUFFED Jumbo BunnyMallows. You can tie a cute tag to the ribbon to personalize further!
