{RECAP} 2013 BOOK TOUR

This post is way way overdue.

I owe you guys pictures from my mARTshmallows book tour.  Although I have already written about the major events and shows I attended as part of my tour, here are the details to the other stops that I missed.

I’m bringing you to San Diego, New York, Miami, Hollywood and Dallas.

mARTshmallows Book tour

Let me start off by saying that I am extremely appreciative of each and every single person who helped me organize my tour, came to see me, helped me spread the word, and supported me with encouragement on my pics and status updates I posted along. You guys all rock!! I am so very thankful to have you in my life. Book tours aren’t all glitz and glamour and can be very scary to take on as a self-publisher. Luckily, our was a total success!

I’d also like to thank my husband, my parents, my mother-in-law, Rocky and Melissa for helping me with the boys. I could not have done it without you!!!!

In 5 months we made 10 out of 12 scheduled appearances — WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR 1ST ARIZONA CLASS! 1/14/12 RECAP

But we DO teach local and travel classes.

Two of the ladies that talked to me about coming out to teach at Arizona were Aurora from Lovely Little Cake Shop and Kim Crapps from Confection Connection. After working out all the details, the date was set and I was set to come out to teach our first travel class!

3 C’S DEMO AT ABC CAKES ON 10/8/11

I got something cool to share with you guys 🙂

A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to be invited to do a demonstration at ABC Cakes Shoppe and Bakery in Orange, CA last Saturday, 10/8/11 for the California Cake Club Fall Quarterly Meeting. Although I’ve been teaching for a year now, something about doing a demonstration in front of sugar art professionals made me a little nervous. Boy, am I glad I accepted the offer and came out to Orange, California because I found a gem…

The store is located in a cute little strip mall off a main avenue, with an ample parking, and great signage so you can’t miss it. I was welcomed by this big o’ Gingerbread Man Baker in the window.

They when I walked in…… “WOW! This place is HUGE”, I said out loud LOL [Read more…]
