I love teaching! I feel so fancy and legit when I get to bust out my chef coats 🙂
I don’t get to do it as often as I used to. Every two years I return to Cake Camp in Las Vegas, Nevada to teach marshmallow art.
It’s such a dreamy experience to be among such a mega talented group of sugar artist and instructors.
I tried to get a photo of everyone during our kickoff meeting but the lighting in this venue is horrible and my photo came out all blurry.
Here are all the instructors at Cake Camp 2015. Recognize any of your sugar idols?
I thought two classes:
DEMO – Marshmallow Cupcakes
CLASS – Marshmallow Roses Bouquet
Each student received a tub of Miss Meringue cookies to take home and practice (hahaha or eat)
I like to provide EVERYTHING in my classes so my students don’t have to worry about a thing.
They just have to show up and be ready to have fun!
Love this student’s spirit! I met her two years ago. She so enthusiastic and always willing to learn something new.
Love how happy the students are when they see their finished pieces and get to share them with their friends and family.
Check out the HUGE selection of gift baskets and prizes that were raffled off.
The vendor room was filled with fabulous products from cutters to specialty tools to common ingredients. It’s such a cool place to walk around and learn about new and old techniques and products. The vendors and sugar pros are always quick to provide help and share their tips.
I’m happy I got a chance to meet Keshia. She has been a TMS followers for a long time and she also won our gift basket at Cake Pop Con 2014.
She made me smile with her love for marshmallows and happy, joyful personality.
I HAD to take a selfie with her 🙂
I hope to continue to attend events like these for many years to come…
