Marshmallow and White Chocolate Flower Pops by TheMarshmallowStudio

This year, Mother’s Day is extra special to me. Even though I’m supposed to be the one to be celebrated, I’m actually celebrating my family. I’m celebrating being the mommy to two wonderful little boys and a new baby girl. I’m celebrating them because they’ve allowed me to be their mother. They truly complete me. They bring so much joy into my life in ways I could have never imaged.

My má often said to me, “when you have children of your own you’ll understand.” Well, now I do! I can finally understand the immense love my mom has for my siblings and I. I can fully appreciate all her hard work, love and dedication toward us from the day we were born. it makes me want to do something special for her not just on Mother’s Day.

Most women love flowers; I prefer the edible kind hahaha! For this reason, I wanted to show my readers how to make something super special and pretty for the extraordinary moms in their lives this Mother’s Day. We all know creative, handmade gifts are the best! These Marshmallow and White Chocolate Flower Pops are sure to make mom feel extra special.

Making these flower outlines with melted chocolate in a squeeze bottle is super easy. No fancy piping skills required.

Sprinkling sanding sugar all over the top of the melted chocolate will give it color and make it sparkle.

Once the chocolate sets, the flowers peel right off the wax paper.

No waste here.. the sanding sugar left behind on the wax paper is perfectly fine. Feel free to pour back into container and reuse.

To insert paper straws into a marshmallow with ease, you’ll first need to make a whole with a wet toothpick. Insert toothpick to water, then into marshmallow side and wiggle it around to widen whole. Immediately insert paper straw halfway up the marshmallow.

Squeeze a medium sized dot of melted chocolate onto the center of the marshmallow. Attach flower right onto it.

Set flower pops aside for chocolate to harden completely before having pops stand up.

To display my flower pops, I filled a mason jar with brown colored granulated sugar.

You may accompany this beautiful arrangement with some yummy chocolate-covered strawberries or your favorite strawberry recipe.

If you’re feeling extra creative, feel free to make other shapes with chocolate and use other sanding sugar colors!
