Sure, it’s pretty sweet to receive a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day…..
but receiving a handmade Box of Marshmallow “Chocolates” is 2,100,8547,962,458,920 times better!!!
And putting one together for your sugar sugar could not get any easier or more fun to make.
First, you’ll need to a heart shaped container. You can either buy a heart tin or box at a craft store
OR
you can buy an actual box of chocolates. You’ll need to “remove” the chocolate and by remove I mean eat them all yourself 🙂
Eating chocolates while I’m crafting or painting is my favorite.
To decorate the Jet-Puffed HeartMallows, I melted a few Baker’s Dipping Dark Chocolate morsels in the a piping bag.
Melting chocolate in the microwave is super easy and fast. No mess, no stress!
Once your chocolate is melted, the fun really begins.
Make a tiny snip on the tip of the piping bag with kitchen shears.
I wanted a variety of “chocolates” in my box so I just let my hand flow freely….
I piped hearts, XOXOs, drizzles and swirls on the marshmallows.
To add a bit of color, I used mini heart sprinkles and to add flavor and crunch, I used chopped peanuts.
You can use any sprinkles, sugars or chopped nuts you already have.
Oooh I bet melted KRAFT Caramels drizzled on top would be yummy too!
Once the chocolate has set, it’s time to arrange your “chocolates” in the heart box.
So who will you be making a Box of Marshmallow “Chocolate” for?
