Let’s talk food!
Let’s talk entrepreneurs!
Let’s talk Miami!
I had the absolute pleasure of attending BlogHer Food in Miami, Florida a few months ago. I had a fabulous time!
You know me… I grabbed my ‘mallow tote and got the show rolling.
My fun roomies were Toni from Make. Bake. Celebrate and Dorangela from Two Prince Bakery Theater.
How cute are these cookies Toni made for us?!
The exhibit hall was filled with fabulous brands like:
We got to try an abundance of delicious ingredients, foods, drinks and products.
This was my favorite booth:
POMPEIAN had a variety of products, spices, toppings and vegetables to have us make our own dressings and salads. Loved it!
I also loved that JAMBA JUICE had a booth. I got to try two new smoothies. When you’re out at conference sometimes you don’t sleep and eat well so these gave me the major boost I needed!
McCormick treated us to a very exotic lunch:
One night, SOUTH WALTON treated a group of us to a private culinary showcase dinner at the Perez Art Museum.
We got our night outfits on and headed out the door.
They really did such a beautiful job. Truly made me want to go home, grab my family and head to South Walton. I hope to be able to do this soon.
The chefs were so friendly and their little appetizer dishes they were fixing in from of us were to-die-for!
Seriously, all the food was absolutely fabulous and delicious!
I got to meet my twin (hahaha), Alejandra Ramos from Always Order Dessert. Super cool chick with many talents and a sizzling personality.
The next day, I was reunited with my true love – Bacon!
Porky gave me a super cute mini skillet which I’ve already used to make a pie chocolate chip cookie. YUM!
I also got to meet these two sugary ladies.
To my right is the super sweet Aimee from Shugary Sweets and to my left is the total sweetheart Jocelyn from Inside BruCrew Life.
I also the wonderful opportunity of meeting a group of sugar loving bloggers.
Shout out to my new friends: Hayley from The Domestic Rebel, Sarah from Candiquik and Julianne from Beyond Frosting.
I had a little downtime the last day in Miami so I grab a cab and hit South Beach. The weather was just absolutely gorgeous. My hair was free and curly (something I never get to do in the dry desert where I live).
Oh I was taking in every ray of sun and delicious breeze.
Got a few macarons for the road and…
off to the airport we went 🙁
Although I miss my family very much while I’m out at shows and conferences, I know it’s good to take the time to expand my knowledge, network and invest in my business.
Don’t you agree? This is why I always do recaps of my adventures. I want other moms and entrepreneur women out there to do it and experience that things I do 🙂
Don’t you agree??
I walked by this flower wall art was at the Miami International Airport and it made me smile.
In the world we live in, maybe one day…
